At the point of prescription, your healthcare provider may have also provided you with a treatment protocol that outlines a starting treatment dose or time, along with treatment frequency. What is a refill code, and how do I get another?

A refill code extends your device’s treatment capacity. When your current code expires, request a new one from your healthcare provider. They will coordinate with Phothera to provide you with a new code.

How often should I use the Phothera HF?

Are there medications I should avoid during phototherapy?

Yes, certain topicals and medications can affect phototherapy. Avoid lotions with UV-absorbing ingredients or photosensitizing agents like citrus oils. Consult your doctor about any medications you’re taking.

When do I need to change the lamps in my device?

Lamps typically last around 300 hours of use. Monitor lamp usage and refer to the user manual for guidance on when to replace them.
